About MidNiteSun

Hello, my name is Peter
and I live in the UK.

As a hobby I play double bass, mess around on
guitar and banjo, dabble on piano and using a PC, create
MIDI files, Chord charts and Lyric sheets.

This site is a collection of some of my favourite, older melodies. I began creating MIDI files in 1991 on an Atari computer using Notator, but when a PC was purchased the creation of Chord charts began, then finally Lyric sheets.

Another developing hobby is to video local jazz bands playing at venue's local to where I live.
A selection of these videos can be viewed on YouTube.

Chord pages are in both Standard and Nashville format.

Chord charts and Lyric sheets are either
*.pdf
files which can be viewed and printed with
Acrobat Reader Ver-3.0 or later, or
*.txt
files, viewed and printed using
NotePad
, WordPad or any publishing package.

MIDI
files
are set as Piano
with each file comprising 3 channels

Melody
Chords
Bass

To hear the MIDI files
*.mid should be configured in Windows to

'Open with' either "Microsoft(R)MediaPlayer"
or any other MIDI capable player
.
